Amanda Mujica has been stitching since she was a child. (Her grandmother Tootie first taught her to make Barbie an evening gown and she’s been sewing ever since!)

She has completed coursework in garment construction, patternmaking, costume design, and textile printing and design at Rhode Island School of Design, Massachusetts College of Art and the School of Fashion Design. She is a graduate of Carnegie Mellon. Prior to starting Amanda Mujica Design, she worked in corporate communications focusing much of her work in graphic design. Amanda is a former member of the National Costumers’ Association. And a current member of StageSource.

With a design background, Amanda offers clients consultation on fabric selections, colors and shapes. And with years of sewing experience she couples that with consultation on construction and proper fit.

Located in Greater Boston, Amanda carefully ensures that all her garments and costumes are constructed accurately, on time and within clients’ budgets.
